Overview
Petfolio is our own SaaS for veterinary clinics, live with real clinics. It replaces paper files, spreadsheets and chat threads with one workspace for owners, pets, multi-service visits, follow-ups, invoicing, retail and reports, across clinics and branches, on quarterly or yearly plans.

The challenge
In many veterinary clinics, patient history is scattered across paper files, spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads. Follow-ups are tracked from memory and quietly missed, visits are typed again into invoices, and a second branch means a second, disconnected system. Clinics needed one record per pet that follows it through every visit, and a product many clinics could subscribe to without ever seeing each other’s data.

The solution
Petfolio is a multi-tenant Laravel application in which every clinic, branch and role is kept apart. A single visit can carry several services (examination, recheck, treatment, grooming, preventive care, surgery and boarding), each with its own clinical record, drugs and follow-ups. Follow-up dates are calculated automatically, and reminders go out with ready-made WhatsApp templates.
The retail side is a complete point of sale and inventory module: barcode scanning, 80 mm thermal receipts, batches and expiry dates with earliest-expiry-first sales, purchasing, transfers between branches and stock takes. Clinics subscribe on quarterly or yearly plans priced in EGP, SAR, AED or USD, and each plan switches features on or off. 546 automated tests guard the clinical, billing and stock logic.
